The Barton Technical Team is proud to be exhibiting at Seawork 2018, 3-5 July at Mayflower Park in Southampton. Seawork is one of the best trade shows globally to see new products for marine and general industrial users.

We’re looking forward to the show next month where we’ll be spotlighting our new bespoke Workboat Deployment Block at the Innovation Showcase.

Working with Mainstay Marine, Barton has developed the Workboat Deployment Block, which is essential to its workboat deployment system. It is designed to deploy an inflatable rib from the deck to accommodate desired workspace on board, and then easily re-engage the rib on deck when the operation is complete. This block is integral in the workboat design and the block head fixes directly onto a hydraulic RAM working in conjunction with 15 other Barton blocks and Dyneema rope applications to meet the rapid lifting and moving operations desired.

Also on display, will be products from Barton’s extensive range of industrial and commercial equipment, such as the versatile track and car systems which can be used for easy movement of loads on deck, man overboard systems, Industrial Snatch Blocks that are CE Certified and which are easy to use in a variety of general industrial maritime settings. Barton’s Block on a Strop – which was shortlisted last year at the Innovation Showcase 2017, will also be displayed and is a “must have” lifting and moving accessory for all worksites, boatyards, marinas and factories.
